Masked Singer 2021 LIVE – Fans think Bull is Todrick Hall & judge Ken Jeong gives Pepper the buzzer

THE Masked Singer is back again tonight, with the semi-finals getting underway.

Masked Singer is nearing the final stages of Season 6, with Group A’s contestants battling it out tonight.

That means Bull, Skunk, Pepper, and Jester will be doing their best to impress the judges at 8pm ET on FOX.

Group B’s stars will perform next week, meaning fans have to wait until next Tuesday to see Banana Split, Mallard, Queen of Hearts, and Caterpillar.

So far this season Beach Ball, Hamster, Cupcake, Baby, Dalmatian, Pufferfish, Mother Nature, and Octopus have been sent home.

  • PEPPER UNMASKED

    The second eliminated contestant of the night was Pepper.

    The performer was then revealed to be Natasha Bedingfield.

    Judge Nicole Scherzinger had the right guess.

    “It’s fun to be spicy,” Natasha said.

    “I just want people to feel something.”

  • JESTER REVEALED TO BE JOHNNY ROTTEN

    During the first of two eliminations of the night, the Wild Card performer was revealed to be the Sex Pistol’s lead singer Johnny Rotten.

    None of the judges guessed the right identity.

  • ROBIN THICKE THINKS FAITH EVANS IS THE SKUNK

    Thicke repeated his theory that the Skunk could be Faith Evans.

    And some fans agree.

  • THE SKUNK PERFORMS ‘AT LAST’

    On Wednesday’s show the Skunk performed the classic song by Etta James.

    Before her performance, she said she considers the Bull to be the current front-runner in the competition.

    The judges were all complimentary of the Skunk’s voice.

    The skunk’s Bling Shot clue was the word “love.”

  • FANS DON’T LIKE THE TAKE IT OFF BUZZER

    After Ken used the Take it Off Buzzer for Pepper, fans of the show shared their takes.

  • JESTER PERFORMS

    The Wild Card performer sang “In the Jailhouse Now” by the Soggy Bottom Boys.

    The judges were left stunned by the song choice.

    “I do it all, Nick,” said Jester.

    The Jester’s Bling Shot clue was the word “cake.”

  • KEN WAS WRONG ABOUT PEPPER

    Following Ken’s use of the Take It Off buzzer, which allows a judge to make a final guess when they think they know the singer’s identity.

    Ken guessed Pepper was Sara Bareilles, but host Nick Cannon revealed the guess was wrong, and Pepper’s identity was left unrevealed.

    Now that the buzzer has been used, no other judge gets to use it again.

  • KEN USES THE TAKE IT OFF BUZZER FOR PEPPER

    The judges were presented with the word “train” as Pepper’s clue.

    Following the revelation, Ken said he now knew exactly who Pepper was and asked for the take it off buzzer.

    He guessed Pepper was Sara Bareilles.

  • PEPPER PERFORMS

    “I can’t believe I made it to the semi-finals,” said Pepper before their performance of “Sign of the Times” by Harry Styles.

    “I just remember wanting things to be better and this song reminds me of that,” they added.

  • FANS THINK THAT TODRICK HALL IS THE BULL

    After the Bull’s performance, fans of the show continued saying they believe Todrick Hall is behind the mask.

  • THE BULL’S CLUE

    The judges received a ring as a clue to the Bull’s identity.

    It was said that the ring, the bull and guest judge WILL.I.AM all had a connection.

    “Sometimes the clues, all they do is throw you for a loop,” said Jenny McCarthey.

  • FIRST PERFORMANCE

    The Bull had the first performance of the night, to “Rain on Me” by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande.

    “I’m the most nervous I’ve ever been in my life or career,” he said of the competition, adding that this performance would allow him to show he is a “triple-threat.”

  • GUEST JUDGE

    Black Eyed Peas founder WILL.I.AM was revealed as the guest judge for the first semi-final show.

  • SEMI-FINALS BEGIN

    It was announced at the beginning of Wednesday’s show that there will be two eliminations.

  • WHO IS BANANA SPLIT?

    Banana Split is one of only two duos to compete on the show.

    The first duo was back in season 4 when Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black dressed up as Snow Owls.

    While they might be the second duo, Banana Split is the first duo to not be inside the same costume together.

    While it is still unknown who is behind the mask, the first clue was revealed as a trio of red candy apples. 

    The show teased them toasting champagne glasses at an outdoor cafe and shooting money guns.

  • MAMA JUNE THANKS FANS

    The Beach Ball was forced to reveal its identity earlier in November, which was Mama June and Alana.

    In her TikTok video, Mama June said: “Maybe some of y’all caught The Masked Singer and figured out the beach ball was us before we got unmasked.”

    She continued, filming make-up free at home and cozied up in a sweatshirt: “I just want to say thank you so very much.”

    The reality star encouraged her fans to watch the show.

    Mama June also teased that she doesn’t know the celebrity identities of any other contestants, even after being eliminated from the show.

  • WHO WAS THE BEACH BALL?

    Mama June and her daughter Alana Thompson, also known as Honey Boo Boo from the reality show Toddler and Tiaras, were unmasked as the beach ball on The Masked Singer.

  • WHO IS PERFORMING TONIGHT?

    Group A’s contestants will be battling it out tonight.

    That means BullSkunkPepper, and Jester will be doing their best to impress the judges at 8pm ET on FOX.

    The Masked Singer is set to air a new episode on Wednesday night.

    It generally airs on Wednesdays at 8pm EST.

  • CUPCAKE’S ‘SISTER’ WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ON THE MASKED SINGER

    After singer Ruth Pointer was revealed to be Cupcake on The Masked Singer, she told the audience and judges that her sister, Anita Pointer, was supposed to join her but due to health concerns, she had to perform alone instead.

    “There were supposed to be two cupcakes, but Anita is having some health issues we couldn’t avoid so I ended up doing it by myself,” Pointer said.

  • WHO WAS CUPCAKE ON THE MASKED SINGER?

    On October 13, fans found out that American singer–songwriter Ruth Pointer was underneath the cupcake costume.

    Pointer, 75, is best known as the eldest member of The Pointer Sisters.

    For her last performance, Pointer took the stage to perform Martha Reeves & The Vandellas’ song Heat Wave.

    After Pointer was revealed, host Nick Cannon went on to call her a “true performer.”

  • NIECY NASH WAS A GUEST HOST OF THE MASKED SINGER

    Niecy Nash previously stepped in as a guest host for Nick Cannon following his Covid-19 diagnosis.

    He returned to the show later in the season.

  • WHO WAS HAMSTER ON THE MASKED SINGER?

    Actor Rob Schneider was revealed as the Hamster on a previous episode of The Masked Singer.

    Schneider spoke to Variety about disguising as Hamster, saying: “It’s the most fun I’ve ever had on television.”

    “Without the pressure of being on Saturday Night Live or carrying a sitcom, it was the most fun for TV.”

    “I think ten years ago, I would have done better at it, hold a note a little bit better. But they have a vocal coach, and it does help.”

    “They gave me weeks to rehearse ahead of time,” he added.

  • WHO WAS THE DALMATIAN ON THE MASKED SINGER?

    In week 3, the Dalmatian was sent home and was revealed to be rapper Tyga.

    Prior to his elimination, he had performed Beautiful by Snoop Dogg featuring Pharrell Williams.

    Tyga told the judges the reason he decided to do the show after being inspired by fellow rapper Lil Wayne, who competed in season three, though he was eliminated in the very first episode.

  • ‘IT DOESN’T GET WILDER THAN THIS’

    The Masked Singer Twitter account shared a teaser of tonight’s episode of the reality TV competition.
