No new cases of Covid-19 in Taranaki on Monday

No new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Taranaki on Monday.

There are still four active cases across the region, three of which involve children. Two of the cases are in New Plymouth, one is in Waitara and one is in Eltham.


Here are some things you need to know about the vaccine pass.

Around 200 tests were completed at testing clinics in the region on Sunday – 50 in New Plymouth, 25 in Hāwera and 120 in Eltham. There was also a high demand for surveillance saliva testing in Eltham.

On Monday, the Ministry of Health reported 97 new community cases in 97 Auckland and one each in Bay of Plenty and Canterbury.

There are 61 people in hospital and four in ICU.

Nationally there have been 12, 617 cases in this Delta outbreak.
